The Founder of the Blue Lagoon Dive Shop, Kimiuo Aisek, not only observed the attack by the U.S. Navy, but experienced the build up leading to the Pacific War.
Along with his fellow islanders, he endured the Japanese occupation, and the deprivations during WWII.

Imagine yourself diving on a Mitsubishi G4M "Betty" Bomber, similar to the one Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto flew in the day he was shot down.
...Then spending your Surface Interval exploring Type-89 Japanese Anti-Aircraft Guns.
These massive, 127mm anti-aircraft guns are positioned inside circular - cement gun emplacements. With a vertical range of 25,000 feet, they posed a serious threat to any Allied planes.
